Foot Anstey leads Integrity360's acquisition of CyberIAM
National law firm Foot Anstey has advised Integrity360, backed by August Equity LLP, on its acquisition of CyberIAM, a leading provider of identity and access management services.
The acquisition represents a strategic step for Integrity360, strengthening its position as a leading cyber security specialist across the UK and EMEA. By bringing CyberIAM into the group, Integrity360 enhances its identity security capabilities and broadens its offering in a market where organisations continue to face increasingly sophisticated cyber threats and growing regulatory demands.
Foot Anstey provided full legal support on the transaction, including leading the negotiation of the core transaction documents. The firm also advised on due diligence across Corporate, Banking, Commercial, Real Estate, Employment, Pensions, Data Protection, Intellectual Property, IT and Regulatory matters.
The deal involved a complex cross-border element, with CyberIAM's operations spanning South Africa, the United States, the Netherlands and Australia. Foot Anstey coordinated advice from firms in its network across multiple jurisdictions to support a successful completion.
The Foot Anstey team was led by Corporate Partner Emma Clayton, with support from Senior Associates Rebecca Minear and Kirsty Poulton, Associate Megan Berry and Trainee Solicitor Emily Handy. Specialist input was provided by colleagues across the firm’s Private Equity sector team, including Senior Associate Laura Tunks on Employment matters.
Emma Clayton, Partner at Foot Anstey, said 'Having worked with Integrity360 on a number of previous transactions, it has been fantastic to continue supporting the business on its growth journey. Cyber security remains one of the most dynamic and fast-moving sectors in the market, and the acquisition of CyberIAM will further strengthen Integrity360's market-leading proposition.'
Shayna Damonse, Corporate Finance Director at Integrity360, said 'Foot Anstey provided invaluable support throughout this transaction, delivering clear, commercial advice across a wide range of legal disciplines and jurisdictions. We are excited about the opportunities this acquisition creates for our clients and the wider Integrity360 group.'
As cyber security continues to grow in importance for organisations across every industry, businesses are increasingly looking to strategic acquisitions to strengthen capability, expand geographic reach and respond to evolving customer requirements.
