David is a solicitor in our Restructuring and Insolvency team. He has experience advising on general insolvency matters, and in particular on administrator appointments, settlement agreements, and directors’ duties. David also has particular experience advising directors in respect of their duties and procedural obligations when re-using company names under Section 216 of the Insolvency Act 1986.
Outside of work, David enjoys playing sports and the guitar.

Expertise
- Provided advice and drafting support to the administrators of an automotive company in respect of a four-party supply agreement, which secured the continued supply of specialist vehicle parts to three purchasers which operated 'just in time' business models.
- Assisted with the rescue and restructure of three prominent care homes, addressing and incorporating specialist CQC licensing considerations.
- Attended the Court of Appeal on behalf of a banking client and worked with Counsel to successfully protect the bank's interests in respect of the debtor's annulment application.
