Foot Anstey bolsters Southampton presence with two senior hires

National law firm, Foot Anstey, has welcomed two senior industry hires to its Southampton office.

Heather Welham joins the Foot Anstey Commercial Litigation team as a Managing Associate and Marianne Ironside joins its Planning and Environment team as an Associate.

With significant experience in professional negligence and commercial litigation matters, Heather will be a valuable asset to Foot Anstey's growing team.

Heather joins the firm from Blake Morgan and advises in-house lawyers and senior employees on a wide range of corporate and commercial disputes, including commercial contract claims, disputes relating to employee restrictive covenants and breach of director duties. In her role at Foot Anstey, she will act for a broad range of clients, including individuals, SMEs and well known national and international brands.

As an Associate in Foot Anstey's Planning and Environment team, Marianne will be using her expertise to provide pragmatic planning advice to clients on a range of issues. Marianne has considerable experience working with housebuilders, retirement living providers and hoteliers and will provide valuable planning assistance to the growing developer team.
