National law firm Foot Anstey has been named as a supplier on Government Commercial Agency's (GCA) Legal Panel for Public Sector (RM6374) framework, demonstrating the firm's ability to support public sector organisations across the UK.

GCA is the UK’s central commercial and procurement organisation, connecting public and private sectors to achieve the best outcomes for the UK and its citizens. GCA uses its commercial expertise to create a simpler procurement experience that redirects valuable resources into essential public services – creating value for the nation.

The framework provides public sector organisations with an efficient route to access specialist legal services and is available to a wide range of bodies, including central government departments, local authorities, NHS organisations, education providers, emergency services and devolved administrations.

Foot Anstey has been appointed to Lot 2: Focused Legal Support, reflecting the firm's broad public sector expertise. The firm will support public sector clients on matters spanning infrastructure and regeneration, property and planning, dispute resolution, procurement, employment, healthcare and education.

The framework replaces the previous Public Sector Legal Services Framework (RM6240) and Costs Lawyer Services 2 Framework (RM6284). Valued at up to £500m, it commenced on 30 July 2026 for an initial three-year term, with options to extend until July 2031.

Commenting on the appointment, Chris Milligan, Partner in Foot Anstey's Real Estate team and GCA Supplier Relationship Manager, said 'This appointment reflects our strong experience in advising public sector organisations and our commitment to delivering practical, responsive and commercially-focused advice to clients operating in and across the public sector. We look forward to supporting framework users in delivering value, innovation and positive outcomes for the communities they serve.'

Simon Stubbs, Partner in the firm's Energy, Projects, Infrastructure and Construction team, added 'I'm delighted that Foot Anstey has been appointed to GCA's Legal Panel for Public Sector. Our inclusion is a testimony to the strength and depth of our public sector expertise across the firm. It will allow us to help clients navigate the unique challenges and priorities that they face on a day-to-day basis, from everyday operational advice to major projects and everything in between.'

This appointment builds on the firm's longstanding experience supporting clients to deliver vital services, infrastructure and investment that benefit communities across the UK.
