Foot Anstey strengthens support for housing providers through HALA framework reappointment

National law firm Foot Anstey has been reappointed to the Housing Associations' Legal Alliance (HALA) Legal Services Framework across four specialist service areas, reinforcing the firm's breadth of expertise across affordable housing sector.

Foot Anstey has secured appointments to the Development, Commercial Property, Residential Property and Employment lots, with Employment representing a new appointment – enabling the firm to provide a broader range of support to HALA members.

The HALA framework gives housing associations access to specialist legal advisers across a range of disciplines, supporting members as they balance investment in existing homes, development ambitions, workforce considerations and evolving regulatory expectations.

The firm's reappointment to the four-year framework, across lots with a combined value of circa £36m, underlines its strength in supporting housing associations, local authorities and other public sector organisations.

With housing associations playing a central role in delivering the UK's affordable housing ambitions, supported by major funding programmes including the £39 billion Affordable Homes Programme and Homes England funding initiatives, the firm is well placed to help clients navigate the property, development and workforce challenges associated with delivering new homes and thriving communities.
