Foot Anstey accelerates growth prospects with two new Partners

National law firm Foot Anstey continues to accelerate its organic growth with the addition of two new Partners – Paolo Sbuttoni and Kate New.

Paolo Sbuttoni

Paolo is a technology, data privacy and commercial lawyer, who has joined from Baker McKenzie in Hong Kong. Paolo will play a key role in enhancing Foot Anstey’s technology and data capabilities, advising clients in the UK and internationally.

Paolo has substantial experience advising European, US and Asia-based clients across the TMT, consumer goods and retail, and financial sectors on data privacy and cybersecurity compliance, as well as technology and digital transformation projects. He is admitted as a solicitor in the UK and Hong Kong.

Kate New

Kate is a real estate disputes lawyer. Kate supports clients on finding commercial solutions to all manner of disputes concerning their real estate. She has considerable experience working on a broad variety of disputes where clients need solutions that will often involve the use of alternative dispute resolution (ADR).

Kate re-joins Foot Anstey having previously been a Legal Director at the firm from 2017 to 2020. For two years, she also worked in-house at telecoms operator Cellnex Telecom.

Paolo and Kate's arrival brings the total number of Partners who have joined Foot Anstey this year to four. In April, the firm expanded into Manchester, and welcomed Intellectual Property Partner Roy Crozier and his team. Whilst in May, Real Estate Partner Philip Brown joined the firm's Developer sector.
