Lara is a Partner, Head of Affordable Housing and lead for the firm’s Developer Team and Transactional Property Group. She has over 20 years’ experience in residential development acting for housing associations, national and regional housebuilders and local authorities focusing on acquisitions, development agreements, strategic development and all ancillary matters. Her key area of interest is the provision of affordable housing and she’s passionate about working with clients to satisfy the ever-increasing need for quality homes. Lara looks to add value to her clients by being an extension of their team. She takes time to understand the aims and objectives of each transaction in order to achieve these.
Lara has a strong external profile in the sector – she is highly ranked in the legal Directories for her affordable housing work, and in 2025 was also awarded ‘Team Leader of the Year – Residential’ at the Property Week Inspiring Women in Property Awards, reflecting her support in championing women into senior roles, mentoring team members through CILEX qualifications and providing guidance to those balancing part-time work and family life.
Outside of work Lara enjoys traveling and walking along by the sea shore near where she lives.
