Career & Experience

Elizabeth specialises in advising both charities and private individuals on disputes involving legacies, trusts and estate administration. Her work includes claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975, will validity disputes, applications concerning the removal of executors and trustees, applications concerning the interpretation and construction of wills, professional negligence claims and actions by or against executors and trustees.

Her background is in non-contentious private client matters and she has advised clients in relation to wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, trust matters and tax advice. She is particularly interested in ensuring that executors and trustees comply with their duties, and says that she is able to use her non-contentious knowledge and experience to really add value to clients and provide practical solutions.

Never one to sit still, outside of work Elizabeth enjoys running (particularly trail runs on Dartmoor), skiing, yoga and travelling – she even hiked Kilimanjaro in 2016!
