Tower Group appoints Foot Anstey to support on green hydrogen offering

The Energy team at national law firm Foot Anstey LLP has been appointed as one of Tower Group's (trading as Tower Green Holdings Ltd) legal advisors to support on its green hydrogen supply offering.

Since its inception, Tower Group has worked towards decarbonising the South West of England to ultimately help the region cut its reliance on fossil fuels. With this goal in mind, Tower Group has been building a green hydrogen ecosystem in the South West by acquiring and operating its own renewable energy sites and assembling a diverse network of green hydrogen off-takers.

The Foot Anstey team working with Tower Group includes Chris Pritchett (Partner), Aliki Zeri (Senior Associate), Julie McGovern (Associate) and Alice Foster (Solicitor). The team has been working with Tower Group to create documentation and advise on a range of matters commercial energy matters, including grid connections, exclusivity and supply chain.

As the project advances, the specialist team at Foot Anstey will be advising Tower Group on setting up corporate structure and SPVs, assisting with funding agreement reviews, land options and leases and green hydrogen off-taker arrangements (energy PPAs).

Other firms collaborating with and advising Tower Group include Savills and PKF Francis Clark.
