Foot Anstey reappointed to NFU legal panel

Top 100 law firm Foot Anstey has been reappointed by the NFU to its panel of legal advisers for a further three years.

A rigorous six month review process saw the farming union select 15 firms to provide legal services and support to its members. Foot Anstey is one of two firms in the South West included on the panel.

The decision reflects feedback from the NFU's staff and members, as well as the breadth and quality of legal services which the selected firms provide. Fee structures and firms' ongoing commitment to the NFU and its membership were also taken into consideration.

We are proud and delighted to retain our position as one of 15 firms on the NFU panel after a robust review process. We have worked hard to develop our relationships with the NFU and its members across the region. We look forward to continuing our specialist work in the years ahead.

Edward Venmore, Head of Agriculture at Foot Anstey

Alex Stevens, regional policy advisor for the South West said: "The years to come will see unprecedented change for farmers and growers as they face the challenge of extreme weather, consolidation of retailers and processors, changing regulation and the UK leaving the EU.

"In uncertain times, it becomes even more vital to have advice and guidance that you can depend on. We are delighted that the great relationship between the NFU South West Team and our farming members will continue with Foot Anstey over the next three years."

As a result of the appointment, NFU members can access a 15% discount on legal advice from Foot Anstey on agricultural and rural issues. Foot Anstey will also advise on all other personal and business matters.
