We are delighted to announce the 26 charities that have received support through Foot Anstey’s inaugural Community Fund, established to champion organisations improving social mobility and strengthening the communities in which we live and work.

A total of £14,500 has been awarded, with each charity receiving at least £500 to help deliver projects that expand opportunities, tackle barriers, and support wellbeing across our regions.

The selected organisations reflect a wide spectrum of community needs from surf therapy and homelessness support to arts access, youth mentoring, disability inclusion, food provision, and financial advice. Funding was distributed between December and early February in partnership with the Devon Community Foundation and Charities Aid Foundation.

Bola Gibson, Executive Director for Responsible Business, commented: “We created the Community Fund to make sure our support reflects the causes that matter most to our colleagues and their communities. Thanks to their insight, we’re able to reach charities making a real difference on the ground and deliver impact where it’s most needed.”

Colleagues nominated charities that are transforming lives in their local areas. Many shared powerful stories about the impact these organisations have had on young people, families, and whole communities.

A Bristol-based colleague commented on the charity they put forward: "It has been such a transformation in the community – it has honestly completely changed the lived experience of my family and that of so many other people in the area. It serves communities among the 10% most deprived nationally, where young people face high barriers to education, employment, and mental health support."
