Leena is a member of our Real Estate finance team specialising in Islamic Finance. She has experience in advising and acting for banks and overseas investors on a range of Islamic finance structures for the acquisition and refinance of both multi-let commercial properties and high value residential properties, often involving offshore jurisdictions.
Leena has a keen interest in understanding the interplay between FinTech and Islamic Finance. One of her career highlights include advising and preparing the necessary legal documentation for a client developing their innovating business in this niche field. She is excited to see what further opportunities the FinTech industry will offer so that she can further grow her interest.
Leena has also advised a leading Islamic Bank on how to grow their commodity murabaha offering focused on commercial properties in the UK.

Outside of work, Leena is a keen runner, plays netball and loves travelling.
