Record praise for Foot Anstey in law guides

BOTH major independent law guides, Chambers and The Legal 500, have commended South West-based Top 100 law firm Foot Anstey – each increasing their count of recommended lawyers to record levels.

The Legal 500 praised Foot Anstey for its "commercial savviness and legal expertise" while Chambers' contributors said its team "takes the time to understand what we're looking to get out of a piece of work, and manage their approach accordingly."

Both annual directories compile feedback from clients and peers, ranking UK law firms by expertise and sector.

Chambers • 49 named leading individuals • 11 in 'Band 1' Foot Anstey's Insolvency & Corporate Recovery team went from being unranked last year to the first tier in The Legal 500. There were also new entries for the Energy and Intellectual Property teams.

Clients hailed Foot Anstey's "quick responses and fast turnarounds without a reduction in quality" with interviewees describing the firm as "among the very best in the South West" and one which "punches significantly above its weight."
