Foot Anstey attracts high profile dispute resolution Partner in Manchester

National law firm Foot Anstey has strengthened its dispute resolution practice with the addition of Jan Levinson in Manchester - a renowned media, sports, and tech disputes lawyer.   

Prior to joining Foot Anstey, Jan was a Partner in the Commercial Dispute Resolution team at law firm DAC Beachcroft for 21 years with a particular focus on technology, media and sports disputes. 

Jan specialises in commercial dispute resolution, with a particular focus on media, sports, and tech disputes. He has acted for a number of big-name clients across many well publicised cases, and has extensive experience handling complex cross-border disputes, with matters spanning Japan, France, the USA, Singapore, Spain, Zimbabwe, South Africa and India. As an accredited mediator, Jan brings substantial expertise in dispute avoidance and alternative dispute resolution.

Jan's arrival comes as Foot Anstey's dispute resolution practice has seen significant growth over the past year with the additions of Partner Jonathan Grigg as team leader, former Fieldfisher Partner Hannah Piper and financial services litigator Sonya Zywko.
