Jessamy is an Associate in our Real Estate Team. She has experience in a wide range of real estate work with a particular focus on commercial and residential development and the securing of development finance. Jessamy has advised on a range of matters including site acquisitions and disposals, the acquisition of affordable housing, investment property management and development finance projects.

Jessamy’s clients are primarily comprised of national, regional and local developers, landowners disposing of land for development, housing associations, banks and alternative lenders.

Outside of work, Jessamy is usually at the beaches in north Devon where she lives; surfing, swimming, walking and camping.

Expertise

  • Acting for national, regional and local developers and promoters in respect of the strategic acquisition of both residential and commercial development land.
  • Acting for developers in the acquisition of significant residential development sites, involving the negotiation and completion of overage agreements, option agreements, conditional agreements, sub-sale contracts and advising on a wide range of documentation ancillary to the delivery of a residential development.
  • Acting for housing associations and developers in respect of both the acquisition and disposal of affordable housing on a Golden Brick basis.
  • Acting for a developer following the acquisition of commercial development land, from inception and site set up to unit sales, including refinancing of the project.
  • Acting for banks and alternative finance providers in respect of development funding for large projects and acquisition.
