Foot Anstey awards University of Plymouth’s Most Enterprising Law Graduate 2021

National law firm, Foot Anstey LLP, attended the University of Plymouth's 2021 Law graduation ceremony to name one student the Most Enterprising Law Graduate 2021– an award it has sponsored for a number of years.

Holly Parker, First Class Honours graduate from University of Plymouth in Law, received the prestigious accolade from Debbie Moors, Early Careers Specialist at Foot Anstey. The Plymouth-headquartered law firm is now in talks with Holly to organise work experience.

Upon receiving the award, Holly said: "I can’t quite believe I have finally graduated! I was over the moon when I found out I was going to receive the Most Enterprising Law Graduate award. It's real vindication for all the hard work I put in over the last three years."

Earlier this year, Foot Anstey welcomed the 2020 winner, Plymouth born Ayesha Faraj Al-Nuaimi, to their offices for work experience. Ayesha has now secured herself a permanent role with the firm as a Paralegal in Foot Anstey's Commercial Property team in Plymouth.

Ayesha said: "I absolutely loved my work experience with Foot Anstey, so it was a no-brainer to apply for the Paralegal role within the firm's Commercial Property team. Debbie was incredibly helpful throughout my application process and the team have been so supportive and kind. I am excited for the future with the firm!"

Debbie Moors commented: "We pride ourselves on nurturing the talent of the future and The University of Plymouth's Most Enterprising Law Graduate Award is just one example of this. We are honoured to support our local community, grant easier access to legal careers and empower ambition within those that are new to the industry. The past year has been extremely difficult for students up and down the country, and it is our pleasure to be able to offer students such as Ayesha and Holly invaluable work experience in such a competitive sector."
