How else can you experience Foot Anstey?

We work with West of England Legal Early Careers Network (WLECN). This network aims to provide work experience opportunities to school age individuals. Their year 10 work experience programme runs in July, giving participants the opportunity to experience a number of firms and build important skills.

We take part in their year 10 programme, putting on a full day in our office so individuals get a flavour of Foot Anstey. Keep an eye on WLECN’s LinkedIn page for further information and the details of the summer 2026 programme.

Designed for University students, our vacation schemes are a fantastic way to experience life at Foot Anstey for yourself, and to see the work, the career and the life you could have here. During your vacation scheme, you will have the opportunity to work on live cases to understand the work you would be doing as a trainee. At the end of the week, you will join and take part in an assessment centre day and, if successful, you will be offered a training contract. Plus, we support with your travel and accommodation costs, in addition to paying you for your week of hard work.

Please see our vacation scheme page for mor details and how to apply.

An apprenticeship is a great route into a law firm, with the training, resources and support to help you kick-start your career. There’s a huge range of possibilities for school leavers, post grads and career changers with opportunities in legal and non-legal roles. Head over to our Apprenticeships page to find out more about our Legal Apprenticeship programme and other opportunities.

Plus, we work with media partners, taking part in the virtual law fairs, virtual workshops and panel events. So keep an eye out on attendance lists! To see where we are appearing next see our events page.
