Alastair is an Associate at the firm specialising in financial services regulation. One of his specialist areas is Islamic Finance, having previously worked as a transactional real estate finance lawyer acting for Islamic Banks.
Alastair achieved distinctions in both the Graduate Diploma in Law and LLM in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Law. He also has a first-class degree from the University of Bristol and a master’s degree from the University of Oxford. He worked in the management team of a global science and technology university, reporting to the President of the university, before a career change to the law.
He has organised several experience days at the firm for young people on behalf of the Social Mobility Business Partnership charity.
