We are holding an Insight Day for students and graduates interested in our Training Contracts and Vacation Schemes.

We are excited to invite you to our Trainee Insight Day!
The day will run from 10am until 3.30pm and will be a great opportunity to meet and hear from Partners, current Trainees and our Early Careers team.
What to expect from the day…
- Pastries and coffee to get you settled in
- A welcome from the Foot Anstey Early Careers team giving you some context to the day and an overview of our routes to apply.
- A workshop with one of our Partners on commercial awareness – you'll get an insight into what this means in practice and have the chance to apply it to real life situations. Commercial awareness is an important skill to demonstrate in your applications and in your career so this session will help you start building out this skill.
- A deep dive into our sector specialisms with experts in their field – hear from Partners about our Space and Islamic Finance specialisms. You will hear about two exciting fields and learn about the law in action.
- Lunch and networking – a chance to refuel, network with trainees and Partners and get an office tour!
- Hear from our trainees who will share their career journey's to date – from applying and landing their training contracts to what their experience has been since joining Foot Anstey.
- A session exploring the skillset of an O Shaped Lawyer. Run by one of our excellent Talent Development Partners this will give you a real insight into how you can develop your skills.
- An insight into making your application – our Early Careers team will share top tips on making your best application – from what they look for in an application to how to ensure accuracy.
Our Insight Day promises to not only tell you more about Foot Anstey but will also:
- Expand your understanding of what it's like to work in a commercial law firm.
- Develop some of the essential skills that will help you excel in your careers.
- Give you guidance on the next steps on your journey as an aspiring lawyer.
