Date & Time Wednesday, 14 June 2023

Location Foot Anstey, 2 Glass Wharf, Bristol, BS2 0EL

We are delighted to be hosting an exciting new networking event with Empire Fighting Chance, focusing on leadership, sport and mental health.

Hosted by ITV News Westcountry correspondent Rob Murphy, the panel will include English cricket coach and former first-class cricketer Richard Dawson and Rugby Union coach and ex-premiership rugby player Russell Earnshaw who will explore the role of the leader in high-performing teams, building resilience in teams and the importance of community within the workplace.

Creating environments that support good mental health is vital to developing high performing teams both in and out of sport, yet young people are experiencing unprecedented levels of poor mental health. Joining the panel will be Empire Fighting Chance’s CEO Martin Bisp and Therapist Cat Taylor, who will outline how the charity is taking mental health services out of the clinics and into communities across the city to support vulnerable young people in finding their way.

The session will conclude with drinks, canapes and a chance to network.
