CBI Finance Directors Network (South West)
We are delighted to be sponsors and contributors for the next CBI Finance Directors Network (South West) on responsible business conduct.
Maximising the business opportunity
The pandemic has increased the importance of building resilient businesses that have a long-term future. It has also led to a greater focus on how organisations impact their environment and society more generally. The session will be chaired by Sara Tomley (Deputy Director – South West, CBI) and Karen Bates (Head of Employment and Partner, Foot Anstey) will be joining as an expert on the subject.
Long-term sustainable, and profitable businesses will be the ones that can satisfy myriad stakeholders, including owners, employees, customers, lenders, regulators, media and pressure groups.
Join us as we demystify and simplify some of the ESG noise with a practical case study, policy update and an open discussion where we will explore the following questions:
- What barriers are you facing that may be holding back the implementation of an ESG strategy, and what has been the most impactful strategy to date?
- How are you aligning your business model to the goals, commitments and obligations of ESG?
- How are you measuring the impact of policies and training for the purposes of reporting on ESG?
Sarah Robins, Sustainability Manager for the Banner Group, will be joining us as our expert case study. Sarah is responsible for leading and delivering the company’s sustainability strategy, helping to drive change and continual improvements in ESG performance.
You’ll particularly benefit from this event if you are a:
- Finance Director
- CEO / Managing Director
- Sustainability Director
- Human Resources Director
