The perils of failing to procure correctly

The failure of any procurement process is costly for the awarding body and the bidders and can also be a very public embarrassment.

Not only is this a cautionary warning to public bodies of the need to procure correctly it also serves to remind bidders that a legal challenge can be a very effective tool to correct things when they go wrong.
