Covid-19 – update on government support for the ‘stranded middle’

Further to our article in relation to the 'stranded middle', Rishi Sunak (MP) is today (Friday 3 April) announcing the new Coronavirus Large Business Interruption Loan Scheme (CLBILS) to provide access to loans of up to £25 million to firms with an annual turnover of between £45 million and £500 million.
The government has set out some initial information in this announcement and we will be watching as the details unfold.
