Real Estate Group

Southampton, Exeter, Bristol

Apply now

We are looking for an ambitious and capable Senior Lawyer to join our exceptionally successful, high value residential offering within our Conveyancing Services Team. This is an excellent opportunity to work directly with Rebecca Kibby (Partner and Head of Conveyancing Services) and other members of the wider team to deliver profitable and innovative solutions to clients.

What you’ll do

In this challenging and varied role, you will play a crucial part in growing and developing our Conveyancing Services Team. You will already be experienced working at a senior level within Residential Conveyancing (Senior/Managing Associate) with an established client following. Leading on matters directly, this is predominately a standalone role, concentrating on your own caseload, with the support of an assistant.

You will be adept at handling matters with a variety of clients, ensuring work is being done at the right level and with client service central to everything you do. The Conveyancing Services Team is fully integrated with our highly successful Real Estate offering and we consider that our size presents enormous opportunity for flexibility to work with wider teams to deliver quality support to our clients within high value residential transactions. You will have significant experience in advising clients on all aspects of residential conveyancing, including freehold and leasehold properties, estates, and site developments. In addition to focusing on high-net-worth individuals while working closely with our private wealth team. Practised in developing strong and effective relationships, you will offer commercially relevant and practical advice from the outset.

What we’re looking for

You will be joining the Conveyancing Services team at an exciting moment as we plan our ambitious strategy for growth over the next five years. With extensive recent experience working at a senior level in addition to a strong network of established relationships you will be proactive in supporting further growth. We’re seeking someone who is personally self-motivated and equally able to motivate others, with the enthusiasm and commitment to share knowledge and build capacity across the wider team. In your current work, you will be a strong business developer, able to engage with new clients whilst expanding existing relationships as a trusted business advisor. You do this by readily understanding the commercial context of your clients and appreciate the importance of supporting them with relevant advice at the right moment. You will possess a reputable profile in your region and are positive and active in engaging with a variety of business development opportunities within the region’s network.

As a leader within the Residential Conveyancing market you will possess strong communication and rapport building skills, with the resilience to work under pressure by organising yourself effectively to meet deadlines as needed. Being tenacious, thorough, and attentive to detail whilst appreciating the ‘bigger picture’ for your clients, taking pride in the high standards of your work. In return for your considerable efforts, Foot Anstey LLP are fully committed to working with you to unlock your potential and take your career where you want it to go.
