Career & Experience
Marjorie is a Legal Director in the firm’s Property Litigation team, advising landlords, tenants and developers on a broad range of complex property matters.
She has extensive experience acting for both commercial and residential landlord and tenant clients in relation to matters including breach of covenant and forfeiture, contentious lease renewals, service charge disputes, leasehold enfranchisement, rights of first refusal, and issues arising under the Building Safety Act 2022 and associated regulations, including the preparation and service of landlord certificates.
Marjorie regularly acts for landlords and leaseholders with high-value prime central London property interests and has significant experience handling lease extension claims involving some of London’s major landed estates.
In addition, Marjorie advises on disputes and issues affecting development land, including the enforcement and discharge of restrictive covenants, as well as the statutory regimes governing the creation and termination of wayleaves.
Known for her pragmatic and commercially focused approach, Marjorie works closely with clients to deliver clear, strategic advice tailored to their objectives.
Outside of work, Marjorie enjoys spending time with her family and making the most of the coast and countryside.
