Recent experience

Immigration compliance audit

We conducted an immigration compliance audit on our client in the technology sector. This highlighted various compliance concerns with their sponsorship licence processes and systems. We provided practical legal advice on how to overcome the concerns raised and we worked with the client to deliver those outcomes.

Visitor visas

We acted for an overseas sports manufacturer who needed to deliver and install their goods to the UK after Brexit. We worked with the client to identify an appropriate visitor visa route and provide them with the necessary documentation to enable a successful UK visit.

Sponsorship licence application

We were instructed by a recruitment firm to prepare their sponsorship licence application under the skilled worker route. They had an existing employee whose visa permission was due to expire, and they wished to retain that migrant by switching them into the skilled worker category. The client’s expectations on timings, process and costs were managed throughout this project.

Global Business Mobility Visa applications

We have prepared, assisted and reviewed visa applications for senior and specialise workers, along with their dependants, under the Global Business Mobility route. It is vital that work visa applications are submitted accurately to avoid rejection and/or further delays.

Taking that approach, we have developed strong and trusting relationships, meaning you get the results and outcomes you desire with a friendly, reliable, and trusted person to deal with along the way.

It’s a type of visa that allows skilled individuals to work in the UK in an eligible job with an approved employer (called a sponsor).

The business wanting the licence must complete the online application form, gather appropriate supporting documents and prepare a covering letter with their application.

A Level 1 user has access to the online sponsorship management system (SMS) once the sponsorship licence has been granted. They carry out the day-to-day activities using the SMS, including applying for and assigning certificates of sponsorship to migrants.

It is an additional fee payable by a sponsoring employer when sponsoring skilled workers from overseas under certain visa routes.
