Tanya has significant experience of advising registered providers, local authorities and housebuilders (national and regional, and SMEs) and solar farm developers. Her expertise include development agreements, subsale contracts, option and overage agreements and community land trust developments. She has also advised on promotion agreements, collaboration agreements and exclusivity agreements. She has a particular focus in affordable housing having predominantly worked within the sector over the past 7 years.
Outside of work, Tanya enjoys spending time with her family, yoga, dance and has recently taken up tennis.
Accolades
- 232 unit deal (for a package price of £52m) for a national RP. This involved undertaking high level due diligence, dealing with ancient highways dedications and perfecting title defects.
- Advising on the Lease of a new Energy Centre used to generate heat and hot water for local residents and businesses as part of the Bristol Heat Network.
- Community Land Trust deal for the erection of 25 dwellings, which involved a complex restructure to enable redevelopment of the adjoining land.
- Acquisition of land and subsequent £2.5m refinance for the proposed development of a block of flats in the centre of Bristol.
- A conditional acquisition and development of land at Imperial Park in Bristol for the erection of 70 affordable dwellings.
