Laolu is a Senior Associate in the firm’s Corporate team. He is a dual-qualified lawyer in England and Wales and in Nigeria. Laolu advises on a range of corporate matters, including acquisitions, disposals, investments, joint ventures, corporate reorganisations, and general corporate governance. He acts for private companies, private equity houses, entrepreneurs, family offices and listed companies.

Outside of work, Laolu enjoys live music, hiking and keeping fit.

  • Acted for a Singapore listed entity on a series of sell-side and buy-side mandates relating to UK target companies.
  • Acted for aggregator clients as part of their buy-and-build strategy and strategic bolt-on acquisitions including an aggregator within SaaS sector, on equity fundraising and a series of acquisition mandates.
  • Acted for investors on venture capital investments via the EIS, SEIS and VCT schemes.
  • Acted for owner-managed businesses to achieve their exit and succession goals.
