Career & Experience
Emma is an Associate in our Projects, Infrastructure and Construction team, she has acted for clients from across the supply chain which operate in a wide variety of sectors including Energy, Retail and Developers. She has handled disputes relating to cladding claims, ECO and District Heating Schemes, bond calls relating to defects at a solar farm and various payment and defective design issues.
In addition, Emma has also worked extensively with in-house counsel at an energy services company and undertook a secondment in-house at a large infrastructure company.
The bulk of Emma’s experience is in managing disputes through all stages of adjudication, most recently for a battery storage provider, and litigation, including a cladding claim relating to insulation upgrades installed by an energy provider, as well as providing dispute avoidance advice wherever possible. Emma also has experience negotiating and drafting construction contracts and the associated documents on behalf of public sector and social housing clients among others.
Outside of work Emma enjoys getting out walking or on the water kayaking.
