This is a varied and interesting role where you will process financial data within the Accounts team, primarily consisting of the Purchase Ledger and the memberships and accounts attached to that.

What you’ll do:

  • Process financial data of Purchase ledger and membership accounts.
  • Support with cashiering, accounting, and bank procedures.
  • Support the wider Accounts team when assistance is needed at peak times.
  • Learn/understand the Financial Life Cycle process adopted within our business and contribute to managing this policy.
  • Learn/understand Solicitors Accounts Rules and ensure compliance with.
  • Produce work which is accurate and of high quality.
  • Work collaboratively in a friendly team.

What we’re looking for

Whilst an understanding and experience of Purchase Ledger in a business environment is essential for this role, we will give you all the support you need to grow your skills further.  You’ll be a strategic thinker who enjoys and is able to tackle challenges in a logical, step by step way, using your expert eye for detail and great organisational skills.  You’ll be a confident, professional communicator, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.  And of course, it goes without saying that you will be a great team player to work effectively in a great team environment where we are all very happy to support each other.

Pre-employment screening

Successful applicants will be required to successfully complete a pre-employment screening process which includes a financial integrity check and a DBS check. Eligibility to work in the UK will be verified in the final stages of the selection process. All candidates must be able to prove their right to work in the UK, which may include meeting the Home Office criteria for Visa sponsorship.
