This is a role where you will be actively encouraged to develop your skills and expertise with progression to a Senior developer role, fully supported with both training and exposure to a great team, with great experience. 

Whilst we are flexible around hybrid working for this role, you will need to be located close to one of our offices – Plymouth, Exeter, Bristol, or Southampton.   

What you will do:

  • Work closely with our Digital Data & Technology PMO and IT Service functions to advise and implement Microsoft Power Platform solutions, assisting the business and its users with wider digital transformation needs and opportunities
  • Engage across the business to understand user and business requirements and application software development needs
  • Design, develop and implement no-code/low-code applications and solutions where practical on the Power Platform to support automation, integrations, and data flows solutions for internal and external clients
  • Support continuous delivery framework and best practise Agile/Scrum
  • Create appropriate technical documentation for ongoing development and support of the applications and solutions, adhering to the business’s requirement for controlled software and configuration management, deployment, and publication of Power Platform solutions
  • Establish pre-emptive testing arrangements, handover criteria and a document/knowledge set for service transition and ongoing support
  • Ensure robust access and information security configuration including Role Based Access Controls for published business applications and solutions
  • Champion and support the software development lifecycle of Power Platform solutions

What we are looking for:

  • Solid Power Platform and Microsoft Dynamics experience
  • Proven experience of working with an IT / Software team environment
  • Proven experience and confidence working within Agile / Scrum environments
  • The ability to leverage efficient data-centric outcomes with both structured and unstructured information
  • A curious approach to problem solving 
  • A collaborative nature and an enjoyment of working within teams
