What you’ll do

Lead and manage the delivery of high-quality business services, including post, reprographics, document services, stationery, archiving, and meeting room logistics. The role ensures operational excellence, efficient workflows, and outstanding service delivery to support the firm’s legal teams and clients. You will support the Office Manager in providing an efficient, flexible, and effective front and back-office support service, ensuring our offices are welcoming, safe, and ready for daily use.

In this role you’ll:

  • Line mange one Business Services Assistant, providing support and guidance through hands on training and performance management.
  • Be accountable for overseeing the day-to-day Business Services operation.
  • Be responsible for incoming/outgoing mail, photocopying and scanning.
  • Offer efficient workflow management, and document production – binding, laminating, paginating.
  • Be accountable for stock control of stationery and IT consumables, along with staff kitchen consumables.
  • Handle cheques and monies on behalf of Lawyers.
  • Maintain in/external office appearance through basic office maintenance.
  • Assist with office/desk moves for staff.
  • Log maintenance requests and liaise with Engineers and Contractors.
  • Ensure workplace remains compliant with health, safety, environmental and data protection regulations/standards.
  • Offer reception and events cover as required.
  • Maintain a smooth and efficient service by following team procedures and policies.
  • Coordinate rotas and drive KPIs forward.
  • Ensure exceptional levels of service so any issues are dealt with appropriately or escalated.
  • Take accountability for the internal communal staff areas ensuring they are always maintained.
  • Ensure a hands-on and proactive approach.

What we’re looking for

  • Experience working in business facing/admin capacity in a legal or professional services environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Outwards presentation of a professional/positive ‘can do’ attitude/image, exhibiting passion and pride in your work.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent listening skills and the ability to interpret these for clients.
  • Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to prioritise and problem solve.
  • The ability to deal with a variety of tasks remaining calm when under pressure.
  • Excellent IT literacy and experience – MS Office.
  • Good knowledge of Health, Safety &Environment and GDPR regulations.
  • A shared passion for innovation, collaboration, and achieving great things together.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards or quality frameworks is desirable.
