  • Role: Early Careers Coordinator.
  • Team: Early Careers (part of the Talent Development team).
  • Location: Hybrid working from our Bristol office.
  • Working Pattern: Full time.
  • Why this role matters: The role forms an integral part of our growth strategy by recruiting and supporting our Early Careers talent population. It champions our refreshingly human value through recruitment campaign activity and plays an important role in enabling the team to deliver and run the suite of programmes.

What you’ll do

  • Be part of the Early Careers (EC) team whose main objectives are to create and deliver market leading early careers programmes and develop our emerging talent population into highly successful Associates.
  • Work with the EC population e.g. Trainee solicitors, CILEX studiers and apprentices, and professional support teams across the firm, as well as external partners including school and university careers advisors, and training providers.
  • Develop knowledge of EC pathways and understand relevant qualification routes in law.
  • Support the team in events such as insight days and assessment centres including preparation and support on the day.
  • Co-ordinate aspects of flagship vacation schemes and work experience programmes which underpin our strategic focus on widening access to the profession.
  • Support in creating content for social media, podcasts, and advertising platforms.
  • Manage the EC inbox and respond to queries.
  • Carry out catch up conversations with prospective students and the current EC population.
  • Assist with HR processes such as creating offer paperwork.
  • Liaise and build relationships with training providers.
  • Co-ordinate social events.
  • Report on campaigns.
  • Support all processes in EC such as qualification.
  • Administration for EC programmes.
  • Support the wider Talent Development team.

  • Experience (or education) in a related area of work such as HR, recruitment, apprenticeships or supporting students in a paid or voluntary position.
