Patrick Howarth, Partner in our Employment and Retail & Consumer teams and Nathan Peacey, Partner and Head of Retail & Consumer chaired a roundtable on 'Tackling harassment and abuse in retail' on 9 September at Retail Week General Counsel 2021.

Retail Week is bringing together retail’s legal leaders to determine the best path out of the pandemic and firmly on the road to recovery. We hosted a roundtable on 'Tackling harassment and abuse in retail'. With reported rates of harassment and abuse on the rise and further exacerbated by the pandemic, it's never been more important to put staff safety front and centre as the world begins to open back up. We shared insights from our latest harassment in retail survey and held an in-depth discussion on what retailers can do to protect staff and prevent them from being put at risk in the first place.
