During our work with a large and rapidly growing business, for example, it became apparent that it had outgrown its existing HR systems and practices, which were no longer fully aligned with the changing needs of the business or its plans for future expansion. This was increasing risks and challenges within the organisation and inhibiting its ability to achieve its strategic objectives.

One of our team with relevant sector expertise undertook a root-and-branch analysis of the firm’s HR structure, its policies, procedures and standardised systems and documentation.

We immersed ourselves in the business’s HR operations, working alongside the existing HR team and the Board to gain a comprehensive understanding of the challenges, appetite for risk, and steps that needed to be taken.

A comprehensive report was prepared for the Board, highlighting areas of concern and outlining the options for addressing them in a way that managed risk and fit the organisation’s plans and aspirations.

We then guided and supported the client through implementing the changes to develop a new people strategy, in terms of policies, procedures, systems and documentation, as well as the structure of the HR team itself.
