LICENSING AND EVENT REGULATION
As well as advising on all aspects of the Licensing 2003 Act (including new applications and variations, sub-committee hearings, appeals and reviews), the team can provide advice on other regulatory regimes including the Gambling Act 2005, copyright music and PRS/PPL licensing, Vehicle Operators' Licensing and private security (SIA) licensing.
In addition the team has a strong reputation for advising on the regulatory requirements of sports stadia and large outdoor events, including festivals, large-scale concerts, show and fairs. As well as strong licensing and project management support, Foot Anstey has advised on artist and supplier contracts, Safety Certification and crowd management, police costs, noise mitigation, merchandising and insurance.
Foot Anstey's key strength in the licensing process is to balance safety considerations and commercial objectives. This is especially important for stadiums and events.
