  • Acting on the reported case of Bradbury v Taylor and the subsequent appeal. We represented the nephew of the deceased in a claim for the deceased's property, worth approximately £900,000, on the basis that it had been promised to him during his lifetime as a result of his care for the deceased. Our client succeeded at trial and at the subsequent appeal, resulting in an Order that the property was transferred to him
  • Advising a national charity on the merits of a claim by the deceased's nephew for financial provision from the estate under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975
  • Investigating the existence of a discretionary trust in favour of charity beneficiaries on behalf of a national charity, after receiving notification that the trustees may have made wrongful distributions from the trust
