  • We advised on a £3.5Mpre-nuptial agreement where the client was marrying an artist of limited means, when he was wealthy. Both were in their 50s. Complicated arrangements were negotiated to cover off requirements of both parties' children that were to be provided for as well as the parties.
  • We advised on the £3M restructuring of three businesses within a family to generate funds for settlement. This involves 3 farms and complicated mix of assets.
  • We advised a client on a £4M divorce involving a very large dairy herd which was run by the family involved in the business. Negotiations were made with the assistance of an expert accountant to reach an agreement. This matter not only required a rearrangement of all the assets between the parties but substantial inheritance act planning involving passing assets.
