Patrick is a partner in the corporate team with considerable experience in advising on complex corporate finance projects in a number of different industry sectors. He advises a wide range of clients including multi-national businesses, financial institutions and major UK corporates.
Patrick's experience extends to cover the whole spectrum of corporate law and practice, including undertaking substantial multi-jurisdictional M&A transactions, private equity deals and complex commercial contract work (JVs, outsourcing deals etc.).
Patrick has acted on many high profile cases and is also noted for establishing a major deal with Thames Water that saw the utility company transfer most of its legal function to a City firm. He was also a key adviser to the company on the £4.2 billion Thames Tideway Tunnel project.
Patrick is a published author and has won numerous accolades, including being named as one of The Lawyer magazine's 'Hot 100' for 2011, 'Best Head of Legal in the UK' 2002 when he was the GC of a FTSE Top 30. In addition his legal team at Lattice Group plc was runner up in the category 'Best In-House Legal Team in the UK' in The Lawyer Awards 2001.
