Kathryn is a member of our employment team and has almost 15 years of experience in both contentious and non-contentious employment law previously working with employers in the not-for-profit sector, including health organisations, education institutions and charities.
Kathryn is an expert in advising clients on complex employment tribunal cases, including discrimination, equal pay and whistleblowing claims. She has also worked extensively advising clients on the outsourcing and transfers of undertakings, her advice ranging from the strategic planning of such transfers through to the drafting of correspondence with trade unions and the transfer agreements.
Kathryn's work highlights include advising two NHS Trusts on the TUPE and Pensions aspects of setting up a joint venture company to provide IT services to the NHS Trusts, (including successfully obtaining Direction Status to the NHS Pension Scheme) as well as drafting the TUPE and staff information clauses for the Department of Health's standard terms and conditions.
