Career & Experience

Lisa is an employment lawyer who specialises in providing practical support and advice for employers in various industry types, on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious employment law and HR issues.

She was named as a Key Lawyer in Legal 500 2019 and noted as being “friendly and knowledgeable but also pragmatic; risk sensitive and balancing the client’s needs against potential costs.”

Lisa also specialises in advising on employment issues arising out of share and asset sales, purchases, joint ventures and private equity investments as well as post-acquisition integration and is an expert in TUPE issues.

In addition to providing legal advice, Lisa also has significant experience delivering bespoke training workshops for employers and HR professionals on many different aspects of employment law such as equality and diversity, TUPE and performance management.

Prior to qualifying into the legal profession, Lisa gained commercial experience working in human resource management within the financial services industry, a large local authority and also for a global packaging solutions and printing company.

Lisa’s commercial awareness allows her to provide clients with pragmatic and practical advice.
