James is a Trainee Solicitor at the firm having gained a Distinction in his LPC MSc at the University of Law, Guildford. As a trainee at Foot Anstey, James will gain the skills to become an expert in law and a business advisor that can turn their legal knowledge into commercially savvy solutions for clients.
Prior to starting his training contract at Foot Anstey, James was chosen as part of a team to test and develop a state-of-the-art legal software to present complex agreements in a digestible way to large financial institutions. He has further experience working as a corporate paralegal, focusing on M&A and helping early-stage companies with their first legal steps.
Outside of work James is a music lover as well as a sailing instructor – regularly crewing yachts in races such as Cowes Week on the Isle of Wight.
