Danielle is a Principal Director in the Farms, Estates and Rural Land team. She works on rural business and property disputes such as partnership disputes, landlord and tenant claims, issues relating to restrictive covenants, proprietary estoppel claims and a range of Agricultural Holdings Act matters. Danielle also has experience in advising clients on environmental regulations and natural capital matters. Danielle is passionate about the opportunities that natural capital presents for the rural economy and understands the bespoke advice needed to implement long-term change.
Danielle acts for a wide range of rural clients including landowners, landed estates and others with an interest in the rural land market such as major banks and property developers.
Danielle has a thorough understanding of the rural market that her clients operate in enabling her to offer practical solutions that work.
Danielle’s recent experience includes:
- Advising numerous landowners on a landscape-scale natural capital project.
- Acting for a high net worth individual on a £20m farming partnership and property dispute involving complicated ownership structures, estoppel claims and tenancy issues.
- Advising on and drafting complex settlement documentation to enable an estate client to recover possession of a substantial agricultural holding including a farmhouse and agricultural land, land used for diversified farming business and commercial property. A deal that involved multiple types of tenancies including Agricultural Holdings Act 1986, farm business tenancies and assured agricultural occupancies.
Outside of work Danielle enjoys countryside walks and spending time with her young daughters.
