Foot Anstey, one of the UK's top 100 law firms, has launched its new Bristol office at 2 Glass Wharf in the city's Temple Quarter Enterprise Zone.
This move will support the delivery of an enhanced client experience and a greater move towards agile and progressive working. Foot Anstey has significantly grown its Bristol presence in recent years from just 10 employees when the office opened in 2011, to over 120 people.
John Westwell, Managing Partner, said: "Our new Bristol space will support our strategy to provide a client-centric service. It is built on a period of sustained growth, particularly within our core sectors, and will facilitate further expansion."
The firm has signed a 15 year lease for the 17000 sq ft Grade A office space in 2 Glass Wharf, which also houses PwC and Arcadis. The move is planned for early summer 2017.
Foot Anstey's turnover has increased by 60% over the past five years to £36m to April 2016, with continued growth in the current year. The firm employs 500 people across seven locations, with their most recent office opening in Southampton in September 2016. The firm is the current holder of the accolade Law Firm of the Year awarded by Bristol Law Society. It is the second time in three years that the firm has won, based on their growth and prominence in the local market.
Ian Wills, Director at JLL who represented Foot Anstey in the transaction, said: “This strategic move to 2 Glass Wharf will provide Foot Anstey with an excellent platform for continued growth, as well as access to a growing range of public transport and leisure amenities within close walking distance.”
Alder King acted for Salmon Harvester/NFUM in the transaction.
