Independent research into the legal profession coupled with feedback from clients has resulted in premier law firm Foot Anstey securing another strong showing in a national legal guide, with the number of recognised leading individuals climbing to 41.
Published this week, Chambers UK 2017 has listed Foot Anstey in both national and regional rankings for the quality of its work. Of particular importance is the recognition of the sector focus, with specialists Martin Cuell (Information Technology, within the Media & Technology sector) and Chris Pritchett (Environment, within the Property, Infrastructure & Construction sector).
Foot Anstey has secured top tier recognition in six specialist areas of the law including Agriculture, Clinical Negligence, Employment and Personal Injury. Several areas of work were named as having national prominence including, Court of Protection, Charities, Contentious Trusts, Data Protection, Defamation, Media & Entertainment, Private Equity.
Particular praise from clients include;
- "They are organised and have a strong client focus. They are experts in their field."
- "It is a disputes practice with a broad range of skills. The service is excellent: always prompt and courteous."
- "They are fantastic in their style, approach and cost, and they give practical advice rather than just giving instructions."
The Chambers UK directory follows Legal 500 published earlier in the Autumn. Legal 500 saw Foot Anstey increase its top tier rankings to seven and the firm's Islamic Finance expertise rise to tier two in London.
Commenting on the findings, John Westwell, Managing Partner at Foot Anstey said: “The results from both the independent directories confirm our dedication to client service and the clear focus which has seen our firm grow from strength to strength."
