Luke, who joins from Bond Dickinson where he was a partner and head of energy, is a specialist in energy generation projects including on and offshore wind, solar and energy from waste projects, as well as the financing and infrastructure of a wide range of energy projects.
He has acted for a number of the UK's major energy companies and is regarded by Chambers independent guide and Legal 500 as a UK-wide leader in his field.
Luke has over 20 years' experience working in the energy sector and will work with the existing team to help shape and develop the firm's fast-growing practice. He will be based from Foot Anstey's Bristol and Exeter offices. The firm already works for a variety of high profile energy clients, including British Solar Renewables, Clean Earth Energy and is developing a leading practice in energy storage projects.

This appointment continues to build on the firm's positive growth and sector focus; the firm recently reported 20% growth in their sectors, with overall growth of 12% and turnover increasing to £36m. Over the past five years the turnover has grown by 60%, which puts the firm amongst the fastest growing in the industry.
