Premier law firm Foot Anstey has advised on the proposed development of 24 new homes in Blackwater, Cornwall; which will be delivered as 16 Affordable and 8 Open MarketHomes.

The new scheme is the latest by the Duchy’s largest housing association and construction/development company Ocean Housing Group Ltd and continues its £200 million investment in the county since 2000.  The homes will be constructed by the Group's construction and development company Gilbert & Goode Ltd.

Foot Anstey lawyers Rachel Langley and James Clark advised on the acquisition and planning aspects of the deal respectively.

Real Estate specialists from Foot Anstey have worked alongside Ocean Housing on several of their sites in the county.  Rachel Langley at Foot Anstey said: "We are delighted to continue our relationship with Ocean Housing Group and support their latest investment which will benefit many families in Cornwall."

Alan Green, Head of Development at Ocean Housing Group commented: "This latest development sees us continue to tackle Cornwall's housing shortage and makes more affordable homes, both for rent and shared ownership, available for local people.  We're looking forward to getting started, creating jobs, training and playing our part in the wider regeneration of the village."
