We have an exciting opportunity for a Paralegal to join our busy Real Estate team in Bristol with a specific focus on Renewable Energy property/clients. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a team with a commercial and collaborative approach, whilst gaining invaluable exposure to a range of clients. What you’ll do
- Carry out Land Registry applications
- Carry out land searches for due diligence of complex properties
- Complete Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) returns
- Complete due diligence and prepare reports on title
- Coordinate clear document management, including preparing and maintaining records
- Draft email correspondence and documents
- Provide an excellent client service
- Ensure deadlines are met and quality of work is maintained
- Lead on the use of technology to ensure a confidentiality agreement process for key E&I clients is maintained
What we’re looking for
- Paralegal experience within Real Estate
- Experience carrying out Land Registry applications, searches, and completing SDLT returns
- Strong communication skills and an ability to reassure and act calmly and professionally
- Ability to work under pressure in a busy team with a demanding and sophisticated client base
- Excellent IT skills with an in-depth knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
- A highly organised individual with great time management skills
- A strong work ethic
- A collaborative team member
