About the Role 

As an Office Manager within our Firm, you will be at the heart of our operations, ensuring the smooth delivery of Business Support Services to our internal and external customers working with internal stakeholders, including our Events Team.

Your role will be pivotal in maintaining standards, enabling change, and driving results efficiently. You’ll have the support of our Central Office Services Manager and Facilities Manager when needed, and you’ll oversee a variety of functions from Reception and Business Services to health and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily Operations: Manage and supervise the Business Services team to prioritise duties, meet service levels, and maintain quality.
  • Management Reporting: Capture KPI data and drive operational excellence.
  • Collaboration: Work with IT and Business Services teams to deliver a consistent, premier experience.
  • Resource Management: Ensure office supplies are stocked and manage office moves with the Facilities Manager.
  • Event Execution: Collaborate with the Events Manager to execute professional and cost-efficient events.
  • Client Communication: Develop relationships and manage expectations to deliver outstanding service.
  • Team Development: Recruit, train, and manage staff to foster a high-performing team.
  • Health & Safety: Ensure compliance and act as a Fire Marshal, conducting risk assessments and maintaining safety standards.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Proven experience in business services within a professional setting.
  • Excellent organisational, prioritisation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication abilities and the capability to build positive working relationships.
  • IOSH qualification is desirable but is not essential
  • Proficiency in IT, AV, and various office equipment.
  • Able to work in our Southampton office, 36.25 hours per week, between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00
