Apply nowWe currently have an exciting opportunity for a Legal Secretary to join our Mental Capacity (Health & Welfare) team. In this role, you would play a key part in providing high quality administrative support services, including team and file operational activities, team finance and risk activities, to enable the wider team's operational strategy. With a huge technology agenda on the horizon, you will be exposed to new and creative ways of working which will enhance not only your IT ability but free you up to develop your client relationship skills.

What you'll do:
- Direct secretarial support to our Mental Capacity team ensuring you maximise the efficiency of their time, organising travel and meetings, producing/amending documents.
- File management tasks to ensure full compliance with practices including, Lexcel, Code of Conduct, and anti-Money Laundering
- Preparing files for court, gathering all relevant documentation and typing up of clear and concise case notes
- Dealing with routine client telephone enquiries, managing and taking calls on behalf of the lawyers
What we're looking for:
- Highly developed communication skills with an ability to handle difficult and sensitive conversations with empathy
- Excellent written English and strong note taking skills
- Experience in producing and amending letters / documents, and knowledge of document automation systems
- Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills
